Masked Men Fire On Three Miners

Boys Sentenced For Theft Of Stove
Sam and Lawrence Moore and William Little were arraigned before Mayor W. H. Van Oster on petit larceny. They received fines of 16 dollars and costs and ten days in county jail for stealing a stove worth five dollars from Dan Ellington in Temple Court on November 12. Police traced the scheme to a 34 dollar loan from O J Laubenthal to buy the stove, but the trio used it to steal instead. Tom Glasco was briefly detained but released when not connected.

Hunting Accidents Kill Three in Ohio Hunt
The Ohio hunting season turned deadly as three men died from accidents this week. Fred Huber, 55, died after a companion accidentally shot him in Shelby. Two hundred Tuscarawas county milk suppliers to the Telling Belle Vernon Company threaten a December 1 strike unless pay rises from 90 cents to $1.15 per hundredweight.
