Booby trap kills 5 G1s near Tam Ky

Five American infantrymen were killed and one wounded when their unit triggered a large booby trap about 380 miles north northeast of Saigon near Tam Ky. The 196th Brigade of the Americal Division was involved as UPI cited US spokesmen.

Cyclone Death Toll Mounts in East Pakistan Flooded Coast

Pool loser fires at table then shoots car in bar

Lorain man rescues seven from burning home

Alberto Ojeda guided his family of seven to safety as fire tore through a two story house on East 32nd Street. Fire crews extinguished the flames quickly. Lt Harry Stewart was treated for cut fingers. The family lost most belongings but found temporary help through local officials.
