State Hospital Honors Alcoholics Ward Aims Rehab
Dr Hopwood at Cambridge State Hospital runs a unique honor ward for alcoholics. The 50 capacity unit uses patient labor, peer support, and AA principles to rehabilitate chronic drinkers with medical and occupational therapy. Admission is voluntary after evaluation, and wards are self supervised with open doors and grounds access.
