Gilligan pledges tax relief for Ohio farmers
Ohio Governor John Gilligan and House Speaker Charles Kurfess urged action on farm property tax relief after the Ohio Supreme Court ruled farms near cities must be taxed on market value. Federation President Leonard Schnell warned the ruling could add about 40 million dollars in taxes. proposals include exemptions or a constitutional amendment.
