East German border guards fire at escape attempt near Babelsberg

The Bled family business and grocery outing ended when a blast leveled their new residence at 10174 Colfax Road in Columbia Station at 12 15 p m. The couple Michele Lee and Scott Michael with children aged three and three months were displaced. Firefighters battled a blaze aboard the freighter E J Mexicano in Yokohama Port. A crewman and a firefighter suffered carbon monoxide exposure during firefighting in hold No 4. The couple insured the home and contents and will stay with neighbors while seeking options.

Six of nine Utah prison escapees recaptured
