Johnson Warns Free World Faces Red Target Risk
Former Defense Secretary Louis A Johnson told a Charleston Chamber audience that parts of the free world may be targeted by Communist aggression and urged a long range preparedness plan. He cited Greece and the Middle East as trouble spots and urged Western unity with universal military training to produce fighters. He defended his tenure as defense chief and rejected charges of favoring a preventive war.
