Ohio eyes lower replacement tax needs for 1933
State Senator Harl R. Lewis of St. Clairsville says replacement taxes may total 23 to 27 million dollars annually in 1933 instead of 45 to 50 million. He forecasts 10 million for 1935 and a two year replacement of 52 million, with 90.6 million previously discussed. He suggests delaying replacement taxes to Dec 1, 1934 and omitting sales taxes.
