Man Runs Car Into Pole To Avoid Collision
Frank Mazza of 1806 Middle Avenue narrowly escaped serious injury after he rammed his roadster into a telephone pole on West Avenue near Fifth Street to avoid colliding with a car driven by a school girl. Police say Mazza believed Mary McGuire of 65 Broad Street would turn into the alley. she instead entered the high school parking area opposite. Mazza’s car sustained axle damage and the front right wheel was removed.
