Local soccer honors highlight Vermilion and Brookside stars
Vermilion star Kunkle named district Player of the Year and regional finalist. Brookside’s Owen Rozanc shares Division II Player of the Year, sets career scoring record, and leads team to district semifinals. Rozanc also excels as a top football kicker. Firelands Isabel Solowicz is the sole underclassman to win Player of the Year and defender of the year. Other coaches honored include Avon's Attica Csiszar and Pete Klepek for Division I, with Panagiotou as co-winner for North Ridgeville.
