Kenneth Grosse a 24 year old Canton resident and son of Dr and Mrs E F Grosse of Wellington is in Falls clinic Wellington after an accidental gunshot wound to the head in Huntington. Washington, Nov. 16. NLRB Chairman J Warren Madden urged the United States Conference of Mayors to back a program to curb delays in enforcing the Wagner Labor Relations Act and foster an industrial democracy. Madden spoke at the mayors annual meeting core session on industrial disputes as about 400 mayors discussed ways to ease conflicts. The group also drafted a resolution urging the AFL and CIO to end their internal war and work toward cooperation.

Strike Closes Fisher Body Plant at Pontiac
About 150 UAW members who barricaded themselves in the Fisher Body plant during a sit down strike left quietly this morning. The vast facility which builds bodies for Pontiac Motor Car Co remained closed while General Motors officials indicated Pontiac plants would be forced to shut down during the day. Airliner Crash Kills Twelve Near Ostend
