Jesse Lezo of Western Heights was arrested by Sheriff H. E. Mathewson on a warrant for forgery. He allegedly forged an endorsement on an eight dollar check drawn on Lorain Plumbing and Heating Co. The check, made out to Lorain Plumbing and Heating Co. by A. A. Filgrove, was found in a coat stolen from Charles H. Wilson and given to A. Kaney in Elyria. Kaney identified Lezo as the man who gave the check to him after payment was stopped.
