Oberlin College trustees met November 14 1924 to review endowment progress and campaign pledges totaling 2 812 000 from 4 100 subscribers. The board also welcomed Andrew Hale Noah of Akron to fill a vacancy and noted plans for a Mead Swing Foundation endowment of up to 30 000 for sermons lectures and scholarships.
