Nov 14 Milwaukee. Alvin Greenwaldt confessed to planning his wife’s murder to obtain her life insurance. He said he hired Arthur Betzhold to choke her death after luring them to Milwaukee. Betzhold, calling himself Kelley, admitted the act, claiming he did not know the outcome. Mrs Greenwaldt’s body was found on a highway. Greenwaldt alleged he was attacked while driving, later shown a scalp wound. police detained him for investigation. He disclosed the $20,000 life policy and the plan to kill her for the money. In another note, Iphraim Morgan of West Virginia was named solicitor in the Department of Commerce by President Coolidge.
