Driver Tells of Fatal Auto Crash
Funeral services for William H Peter Holtzman 24 of 141 Bath street are set for 10 a m Tuesday at St Agnes church after a collision on Cleveland road near Ridgeville Saturday afternoon. Holtzman died as Dr P L Morgan arrived. Allan Roig 23 driver of the car said he swerved to avoid a slower vehicle and skidded on slick pavement. Mrs W Taylor of 150% Fifth street Elgris drove the other car. E C Mullalley of Maumee and Roig’s car collided, tearing off a door and projecting Holtzman about 50 feet. Roig and several passengers escaped with minor injuries. Sheriff Clarence W Dick cleared Roig of blame. Holtzman, a machinist, had lived in Elyria about 10 years and leaves a large family. The body was moved from Sudro Funeral Home to his home this afternoon.

Mystery Veil Over Towerman's Death Near Tiffin
Wallace J. Ringelsen a 48 year old Pennsylvania real road towerman was found dead at the foot of a tower near Tiffin Ohio. A B and O train crew discovered the body after signal remained held for 20 minutes. Police note Ringelsen was alive at 1 24 AM when he got a dispatch about the eastbound train leaving Fostoria. He had set the blocks for the train. Authorities question whether a 25 foot fall caused his injuries including a broken jaw shoulders neck and a gash over the left temple. No disturbance found in the tower and his wallet remained in his pocket.

Penfield youths seriously injured in Elyria accidents
Four people were injured in separate traffic crashes on Saturday and Sunday in Elyria area. William Stephen and Amos Squire, both Penfield youths, suffered severe injuries after a motorcycle collision with a backing car driven by Paul Nichols of LaGrange. Stephen had a possible skull fracture and other injuries. Squire, with a fractured leg and multiple lacerations, was listed in critical condition at Memorial hospital. The incident occurred on LaGrange road around 9 p.m. Also injured were Michael Boylan, 71, with a fractured arm and bruises after being struck on East Avenue by Floyd Nary. C. W. Becker, who injured his leg bumping into a car on Lake Avenue. and Ray Cronin, whose car skid on Lodi Street and struck a pole and fire plug near the railroad undercut.
