Railroad and Detectives Named in $50,000 Suit

The Baltimore and Ohio Mail road company and detective L L Jones, 402 West 28th Street Lorain, face a $50,000 common pleas suit over the fatal Aug 26 shooting of Anthony Serafinos of Lorain. John Bobrowski administrator claims Jones assaulted and shot Serafinos on private property after accusing him of stealing coal. The petition charges negligence in employing Jones who, it is said, had previous unprovoked gunfire. Jones is free on bond awaiting manslaughter trial. Five shots were fired, four entering Serafinos.

Man, 95, falls from hayloft in Buckeye area

Robert Weiss, 95, transient, suffered a fractured skull and ribs after tumbling six feet from a hayloft in a barn owned by Charles Wise on Buckeye Street. He was found around 8:15 p m yesterday and taken to Memorial Hospital in critical condition.

Milan bank robbery ends with citizen capture

A mob in Milan Q captured one of three bank robbers after the Farmers and Citizens Banking Company holdup.
