Valley High suspends 25 drummers over crude drumstick message
In West Des Moines Iowa twenty five Valley High School marching band drummers were suspended for a prank during a band festival photography session. They used drum sticks to spell out a crude message about a female drum major. Principal Robert C Brooks called the act poor judgment though said the students are generally good kids. The suspensions run Monday through Wednesday. The district declined to name the drum major.
