School officials announced a day closure only for tensions and planned a 7:30 pm meeting at the high school auditorium for parents teachers and the board to review four requests including more black teachers counselors and an assistant football coach.
Kent State University President Robert S. White condemned the grand jury report on the May shootings as a dangerous misunderstanding of higher education.
