Ohio turnpike service plazas contract may be awarded next week

A federal bankruptcy sale process may decide the operator of 16 Ohio Turnpike service plazas. Sohio Oil Co is the only bid so far for Oasis Petroleum Corp assets, with a possible sale by Nov. 13 and interest shown by Shell Oil Sun Oil and Marathon representatives. Oasis is in Chapter 11, assets other than the plazas and 26 East Coast stations liquidated, with rights of first refusal noted for Sohio and the commission.
