Early vote in Elyria Lorain shows steady turnout despite rain

Voters queued at Northwood School and fire stations in Elyria and Lorain as rain dampened turnout concerns. By 9 a.m. Ward 4-C had 20 ballots, Ward 7-E,F,G 75, and Ward 1-K 15 with officials noting steady but not heavy activity. Director Jack Wolf raised the turnout forecast to about 45 percent as absentee ballots flowed in. Polls stay open until 7 30 p.m.

Judge sentences Lorain mother for child endangering
