A 19 year old Soviet private who sought refuge at the U S Embassy in Kabul has left the compound and agreed to return to the Soviet Union. He signed a statement that the decision was his own and the embassy lights and guard ring were removed. He had met with Soviet and American officials, with talks in Washington Helsinki and Islamabad cited by officials.
