Three Grafton Residents To View Suspect
Three Grafton residents were to view the 23-year-old Pennsylvania hitchhiker held as a murder suspect in the October 18 killing of Louise Hornbeck, 19. Pathologist Dr. Reuben Strauss reported the clothes showed no link or exclusion. Sheriff William F. Graft said the suspect would wear the clothing and be shown to locals who saw a stranger that night, to compare identities within a day or two. Authorities seek corroboration of the confession, but nothing has supported or disproved it.

Three Months Old Boy Among The 63 Patients Examined At Today's Clinic
A three month old boy from Attica with a leg in a cast visited the crippled children clinic at Gates Hospital for Crippled Children for a second time. Dr. C H Heyman and Dr. F A Lawrence examined 63 patients, including 11 new cases and 52 returning. The clinic noted many young children are being brought for early treatment, and several towns including Elyria, Lorain, Berea, and Akron were represented. The one year old girl from Mt Joy traveled the farthest. The deformity is corrected but ongoing treatment is likely.

Four students injured in crash near Columbus
Frederick W. Oyster, a Denison University sophomore from Chester West Virginia, was killed when a car skidded on wet pavement near Columbus. Four other SAE members from Toledo and Columbus were injured on the way to Robert Schwartz funeral. Driver Kuhn, 18, Columbus, said speeds between 60 and 60 mph caused the crash as the car left the road, overturned, and struck a ditch. Oyster died after being thrown from the rumble seat. Rimer, Kuhn, Clark, and McColm were hospitalised with varying injuries. Oyster leaves three brothers and two sisters.

The Rev Edwin Kirby of Elyria received a call to Cambridge to preach the funeral sermon for Mrs J R Keyes widow of a prominent Methodist preacher. Ridgeville Township Board of Education voted to create a vocational home economics department at Ridgeville High School. State and federal funds totaling $750 yearly will support the program plus half the teacher's travel expenses, with the teacher Mrs. Ethel Patterson assigned as the vocational home economics instructor.
