A sequence of birth notices from October lists births in the Elyria Wellington Amherst Lorain Wakeman Oberlin and surrounding towns. Entries name parents and locations with many entries including Oct dates and several twins and daughters. Some entries date in September and August with addresses or hospital notes.
In Elyria Municipal Court Judge Wohin A Howard presided on October 21. Sheldon Chambers faced two counts of contempt of court with 10 days in jail on each count served consecutively, fines and costs suspended. Nikolaos Gnoos of Sandusky listed as MASH and other charges noted as imposed. Jacob Mullins of Lorain cited for no operator's license with 100 dollars, 1 year good behavior and valid license to be obtained.
