McDonald And Fairless To Tour U.S. Steel Plants

CIO United Steelworkers head David J. McDonald and US Steel president Benjamin F. Fairless announced a joint plant tour starting November 17 visiting Cleveland Lorain district plants and November 24 Pittsburgh area mills. POW To Address Norwalk District Church Conferees

The Rev. A. Kristian Jensen, a Methodist missionary and three year prisoner of war in North Korea, will speak at the Norwalk district conference at the First Methodist church. He survived the death march and recounts life in the camps while outlining the philosophy that kept him alive. The conference gathers about 50 churches, runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with Jensen scheduled to speak at 2 p.m. The event is open to the public.
