Antiques draw fierce bids for classic soda fountain pieces
Nostalgia fuels high prices at a Denver auction with 130 syrup dispensers. A white Crawford's Cherry-Fizz dispenser sold for 19,200 dollars, part of a sale where 70 percent of dispensers topped 1,000 dollars. A Pepsi-Cola uri fetched 69,000 dollars, possibly linked to Roseville pottery designs. The event highlighted strong demand for well preserved, complete pieces.

Allen Dir, 41, a Sterling resident, hunts local postcards on eBay after winning $1,000. Two postcards dated Aug 16 1920 arrived from Indiana and Tennessee, sent to Boston nearly 100 years ago describing a Rock River trip. The pieces connect a past journey from Lowell Park to Rock River towns.
