The Ohio Supreme Court announces three common pleas rules to speed trials grand jury action and sentencing. Effective Jan 1 1972 the rules require criminal cases to be tried within six months final grand jury action within 60 days and sentencing within 15 days of a completed probation report.

Ridgeville weekend crash kills three and injures four

Faris Nida 36 and his wife Barbara 33 were in serious condition with their four children also injured, as investigators continued the probe.
