Avon Lake bans cannabis cultivation and retail operations
Avon Lake City Council approved an ordinance prohibiting the establishment of adult-use cannabis operators and the cultivation processing and retail sale of marijuana within the city. The vote 4-3 follows a six month moratorium ending June 7. Several council members opposed the ban citing possible extension.

Avon Lake can set Lake Road speed limits without ODOT approval
