Dover Canton church battle over pastor reaches court
In Canton, Antioch Baptist Church faces a legal fight as about 50 members accuse Pastor Richard Jordan of salary hikes, property purchases, and handpicking staff. The dispute has sparked threats with weapons at services and a judge ordered leadership to share financial records while a June 10 hearing looms. Major Barnes, suing the church, claims division runs deep despite Jordan’s denial of improper actions.
