May 20. William son of 210 11th street struck an iron telegraph post at Broadway and street corner last night. Mrs Clifford of Lorain and Fred son of Sharon were hurt and hospitalized. Robinson was arrested this morning and fined 100 dollars with 60 days in jail for driving intoxicated.

Oklahoma cyclone leaves 11 dead and heavy damage

A Oklahoma cyclone killed eleven people with Wetumka suffering the worst losses. Nine deaths in Wetumka and two in Warnock were reported as the storm damaged homes and stores valued around 100000 dollars. About 100 people were injured, with twenty to thirty in serious condition. Eugene Bannister aged 60 years 3 months 13 days died Wednesday May 28 at 11:00 p m at his parents home in Belden. He is survived by his wife one son his father and mother one brother and one sister of Belden and a sister in California. Funeral services will be held Saturday May 31 at 2:00 p m with private interment in Belden cemetery. Body may be viewed at the late home until noon.

Bandit Holds Up Interurban Near Hibernia Then Flees

Franklin county authorities reopen search for a lone bandit who halted an interurban car near Hibernia last night, robbed the crew Ned Roe and Cary Warner of $75, and fled after a store attempted robbery. The car was stopped mid highway as motorists watched. John Slugel, store proprietor's son, ordered the bandit out.

Drunken Driver Pleads Guilty In Local Court

Police found Ed H Hulybarton drunk after a late night crash near the B and O tracks on the road to the county home. He admitted guilt before Mayor Hinkeen, was fined $25 and costs, paying from a roll of over $400.

Hungarian Reform Church Dedicates New Organ Tomorrow

Tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. the Hungarian Reformed Church on West River Street will dedicate a new pipe organ by A. J. Schantz Co. of Norville. Rev. Alexander Csutoros and Rev. A Kalassy will preach with Rev. Eugene Vecy of Farrell also participating. A. L. Garford will give a brief address. Cleveland quartet will furnish music and Miss Wilton Csutoros will preside. A banquet will follow in the basement. the public is invited.

Lorain Woman Killed by Street Car

Edna Scott of the east side was struck and killed when she stepped in front of a yellow line street car on West 28th street. She was taken to a hospital and then to an undertaking parlor. Mrs. Scott, wife of Charles Scott, lived at 1530 East 30th street and moved to Lorain last October.

Sam Nagy Fined for School Noncompliance in Western Heights

Western Heights resident Sam Nagy was arrested by Constable John Howlett for refusing to send his son John Nagy to school. He appeared before Justice J. George and was fined 10 dollars plus coats, paid in court, with the boy to be sent to school.

Bishop Brown Heresy Trial Debates Interrogating 125 Bishops

In Cleveland on May 29 the Brown trial debated whether the bishop may interrogate 125 Episcopal bishops about doctrine. Prosecution and defense clashed over the relevance of summoning fellow bishops and taking their depositions while Brown remained in court and continued communion with his bishops-judges at Trinity Cathedral.

Mrs Anna Kelley Dies at Memorial Hospital

Mrs Anna E F Kelley 67 of 920 East Avenue wife of George R Kelley Chronicle Telegram staffer died at Memorial Hospital after noon today. She went to hospital this morning for a nervous condition not thought serious. Survived by husband a daughter Mrs Hazel Nederer of Johnstown Pa and two grandchildren Elvadore and Novelda. Funeral arrangements pending.

Watchman Killed by Gunfire in Cincinnati

Jacob Goldschmidt a 40 year old watchman was killed today in Cincinnati by an attacker identified as James aboard a city street. Police report no weapon pipe connection found at the scene and investigation continues.

Louisville police report C F Heath a 35 year old Chicago druggist admitted involvement in the kidnaping and murder of Robert Franks 13 son of Chicago millionaire Jacob Franks Heath was found unconscious in his hotel apartment and taken to hospital for treatment.

Jury Unable to Agree in Lorain Liquor Case

Tudolph Kubasak of Lorain faced a third liquor violation charge. After hours of deliberation the jury reported a hung verdict, six for acquittal and six for conviction, with both sides refusing to yield. The defense challenged state witnesses including Croyle. Kubasak had two prior liquor convictions and fought to avoid penitentiary.
