A state bill includes a 12 million grant program to replace lead contaminated plumbing in pre 1990 school buildings. Grants up to 15000 per building come via the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission with additional funds from the Ohio Water Development Authority and EPA guidelines, retroactive to Jan 1. Heimlich uses namesake maneuver to save choking woman
Henry Heimlich a 96 year old surgeon who developed the Heimlich maneuver saved an 87 year old woman at the Deupree House in Cincinnati by applying abdominal thrusts. The incident occurred Monday night and the woman recovered after a piece of hamburger with bone was expelled.
