Black River seniors named honor students
Nine Black River High School seniors earned honor status at last night's commencement while 13 students collected scholarships. Valedictorian Lance and salutatorian Lance led a field including Hawley Blessing Carpenter Smith Koch Hastings and others across multiple scholarships from Firestone to Larabee-Rook. Two seniors won John Phillip Sousa band awards, and exchanges funded trips to Central and South America.
