Farm Bureau cooperatives set rates for 160 kWh month at 4.95 and 200 kWh at 7.95, with a 2.50 minimum charge giving 35 kWh. Rates compare favorably to commercial rural power and include no line-extension charges, financed via REA loan amortization over 29 or 25 years. Thousands Of Homes Have Workshops
Thousands of American homeowners take up carpentry or woodworking as a hobby. Most houses have space such as a basement cellar or attic for a home workshop with a sturdy bench lathe and tool racks. A small outlay outfits the room and shelves for materials. Light lures worms in Vancouver as red light draws them from holes into a hat box.
