Cannon Goes Mobile for Memorial Day Parade Fun
Elyria and downtown events kick off Memorial Day weekend with Band Appreciation Day on Friday and a Monday parade. A Civil War cannon prop, rebuilt by Lorain County Historical Society volunteers, will ride in the parade. Downtown streets close Friday and Monday for the celebrations, with performances by the Elyria High School Pioneer Marching Band and other groups.
