Lorain County Common Pleas Court judge Joseph Cirigliano Friday revoked the probation of Leyi Carlisle 60 of 3751 Lowell Ave Sheffield Township and re imposed a 3 to 15 year prison term stemming from a 1982 drug conviction Carlisle was arrested in June 1984 after returning from Detroit with Virgil Fluker who faces an indictment for possession of illegal pills Carlisle was convicted in 1982 of drug abuse receiving stolen property and trafficking in drugs and was placed on five years probation before the revocation was ordered

Man receives prison term for two aggravated assault counts
A 47 year old Grafton man Jack S. Brotherton of 1069 Novak Road was sentenced Friday to three years in prison after pleading guilty to two aggravated assault charges. Judge Joseph Cirigliano ordered consecutive 18 month terms on each count and Brotherton had earlier faced two counts of sexual battery related to conduct with two juveniles.

Man's DUI arrest nets drug charge in Elyria
Elyria police charged 23 year old Ricky J. Rainey with drug abuse for possession of cocaine following a May 9 drunken driving arrest. An erratic drive led to the arrest at Middle Avenue and 6th Street, with a folded paper containing white powder found on his person. The substance was sent to the crime lab and identified as cocaine. Rainey was in jail for a previous drunk driving conviction in Elyria Municipal Court.
