Oberlin College honors 700 graduates in varied parade of attire
Nearly 700 Oberlin College students received diplomas in a sunny Tappan Square ceremony. Some wore caps and gowns while others chose suits dresses hard hats or tie dyed outfits. Senior class president Dynami D Orazio urged social justice. Board chair Clyde McGregor praised the diverse community as President Krislov and honorary speaker Jessye Norman urged art and imagination to shape the world.
