A Cary Grove High School senior, Allen Lee, had disorderly conduct charges dismissed after a court hearing. State's Attorney Bianchi said the decision aligns with the school's view that Lee is not a threat to himself or others following his violent class essay written after the Virginia Tech massacre.
Three masked men robbed an Illinois Service Federal Savings and Loan at 9:30 a.m. Two victims, teller Tramaine Gibson and security guard Earl Coleman, were shot. Gibson died at Mt Sinai Hospital. Coleman and 73-year-old Dorothy Sanders were wounded as FBI and Chicago police pursue suspects.
