Realtor Whitney Wins $158 In Property Sale Dispute
Common Pleas Judge D A Cook awarded William Whitney, local real estate broker, $158 plus $8 interest against Albert C Bishop for the Foster avenue property sale contract. Whitney claimed a $150 commission when he found a buyer at 32 150, but the deal collapsed over mortgage issues. A later sale to the same buyer at the same price by another broker prompted the suit.
