Inmate Leader Takes Nevada Prison Hostage Stand
David Wayne a dangerous Nevada State Prison inmate seized a cellblock holding three guards overnight, freeing 50 inmates from Death Row and high security. Two guards escaped when a SWAT ambush occurred around 4 am. the third was released after Wayne surrendered two hours later. Wayne, 37, had been acquitted earlier in a separate hostage case.
