Memorial Day crash claims Elyria woman in ravine
A 21 year old Elyria woman Diane Sullivan died in a single car crash south of Elyria after failing to stop at Indian Hollow Road and Grafton Road. Passenger Thomas Callahan 15 sustained minor injuries. The car plunged 140 feet and struck trees before landing near a stream. Police noted no clear mechanical failure and possible excessive speed. Sullivan was a Flotec assembler and a Midview High School graduate. Funeral arrangements were announced with services at Curtis Scheuffler Funeral Home. Burial at Brookdale Cemetery.
