Two Die In Crash On Route 18
Two men died in a head on collision on State Route 18 four miles west of Wellington. Guy Rougeaux, 32, of Driftwood Pa was killed instantly. Lee Leonard Crawford, 26, of Cuyahoga Falls, a hitchhiker, died at Allen Hospital Oberlin about two hours later. A gasoline truck owned by The H W Bower Co of Genoa Ohio collided with the pickup truck. Harold St Clair, 45, of Toledo was treated for shock and bruises. Rougeaux leaves three children. Crawford is survived by a wife and two children.

Woman Grabs Outside Cafe Prompted 12:50 am Report
Mrs. Alice Soja of Stan's Cafe Oberlin Road told deputy sheriffs she was grabbed by a man just outside the cafe at 12:50 am today while searching for her dog. The suspect, described as medium build, well dressed in a gray suit and hat, fled in a large tan or blue coupe toward the west after the dog bit the man’s arm and forced him to release her.
