Kennedy Reconsiders Draft HHH Ticket. Won't Campaign
In Boston Kennedy signals openness to a genuine draft or a Humphrey Kennedy ticket, yet refuses to actively pursue either option. The shift follows Kennedy’s 1974 stance and relies on Carter’s weaknesses amid recent primary losses. The potential bid could energize liberal and labor factions seeking an alternative to Carter.
