Three Injured in Route 20 Head-On Collision
A head-on crash on Route 20 four miles west of here at 5 40 p m injured three people and damaged two cars driven by Leon Jones 31 of Oberlin and Donald Chaney 40 of Cleveland. Jones cut out to pass a truck and hit the east bound Johnson car. Jesse Johnson 36 of Oberlin riding with Jones was taken to Elyria Memorial Hospital for x ray. Chaney complained of a head bruise and a Mr O'Brien riding with him had fore head chest and left hand bruises. Deputies issued a traffic citation to Jones. A separate accident at 3 35 am damaged a car driven by Robert H White 30 of Elyria when it sheared off a utility pole on Chestnut Ridge road near Root road. White said he fell asleep.

Route 254 Improvement Plans Announced in County
