ABC Bows To End White Rule In Bowling Code
A July convention of the American Bowling Congress voted to eliminate the White Rule banning Negro members. The move, backed by attorney Michael Dunn, ends a lengthy legal threat and allows the 1931 tourney in St Paul under new rules effective August 1. Some local clubs may still set membership acceptability.
