Girl guilty in contract murder of dad
A 15 year old Cleveland girl was found guilty of delinquent aggravated murder in the $60 contract killing of her father John White. Judge John F. Corrigan said the defendant Michelle A. White could have prevented the murder.

A Cuyahoga County grand jury indicted two men, Michael G. Levine and John A. File, on aggravated murder, kidnapping and extortion counts in the abduction and killing of supermarket chairman Julius Kravitz. Kravitz and wife Georgene were held for 1.5 million ransom. Kravitz was killed when demands failed. Both surrendered in May, with details of the case outlined by Prosecutor John T. Corrigan.
