Rabies vaccination clinics set for next Sunday Lorain County
Lorain County farm Bureau Women’s Committee led by Mrs Corwin S Cuuni Bur rer sponsors public rabies vaccination clinics. In cooperation with veterinarians and the health department, clinics at Sheffield Shopping Center Northview Ridge Center Wick, North Ridgeville, Lorain County Fair Grounds Wellington offer dog inoculations to prevent human rabies. The program cites past rabid wildlife cases and stresses vaccination to protect humans.

14 Lead Sclerosis Fund Drive in Lavain County
Fourteen have enlisted as Lavain County chairman for the 199 Hope Chest campaign of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to run from tomorrow through next Saturday. Elyria committee chairmen include Mrs. Gugino, Mrs. Anton, Mrs. Wysocki, Mrs. Mollohan, Mrs. Jezewski, Mrs. Gard, and Mrs. Gradisec. Amherst chair is Dale Spiegelberg with Avon and Lorain volunteers. other names noted. Association members will donate their services without pay. A donation will defray material costs for each dog invited to the clinic where vaccine protects three years. County Health Depart ment and Farm Bureau’s Women’s Committee assist with free clinic use. Dogs must be six months old and leashed. Arm Bureau Youth Council and 4-H clubs assist.

Mobile x ray unit boosts Lorain County schedule
The Lorain County Tuberculosis and Health Association operates a new mobile x ray unit offering free exams to adults in the county. Children over six pay 50 cents outside the school program. A total of 26051.98 has been raised toward new equipment, with 4854.23 still needed to retire the mobile unit. The Summer schedule lists dates and locations across Lorain, Elyria, Wellington, Oberlin, Amherst, Avon, Grafton, Sheffield, Ridgeview, and the Lorain County Fair from May to August and into September.
