Salvadoran soldiers held in nun murders case
Six members of El Salvador's armed forces were detained April 29 as suspects in the December killings of four American women in San Salvador. Defense Minister Jose Guillermo Garcia said the case remains under civilian trial consideration. FBI evidence and fingerprints were requested for analysis. The United States said the investigation shows progress and emphasis on action against violence. Thunderbird pilot killed in Hill AFB crash
