Kids raise funds for vandalized Elyria family in North Olmsted
Chestnut Elementary pupils in grades 1-7 collected spare change, baked goods, and plan a garage sale to help Ernest Brannon and family of 330 Ninth St. They sent a 125 prize check after seventh grader Elaine Wyder inspired the effort. A benefit is set May 17 at the Elyria UAW Hall with prizes and music.
