Architects Fees Stall Grafton Storefront Renovations
Downtown Grafton business owners are ready to start storefront renovations to support the Go Grafton campaign but the city council balks at paying a $1,500 architec t drawing bill. Mayor Richard Smith says tax income would offset costs. The design firm prepared sketches for a turn‑of‑the‑century theme and colors are being drafted by Glidden Paint. The next Go Grafton meeting is June 8 at town hall.
