Dedication set for Ohio Hispanic Veterans Memorial
The Ohio Hispanic Veterans Memorial in Oakwood Park Lorain will be dedicated at 10 a.m. May 24 honoring Hispanic and Latino veterans. Project leaders chaired by Vic Ortiz Antonio Baez El Centro Victor Leandry and the Rivera family oversaw design fundraising and ground breaking since 2020 with support from El Centro American Legion Post 30 Skylift and local volunteers.
