Fierce Battle Rages in S Vietnam For Third Day
In South Vietnam near Da Nang and Hiep Duc 3 near Saigon fierce fighting continues for a third day after Cambodian invasion. U S and South Vietnamese troops have fought house to house in Hiep Duc district town as North Vietnamese regulars hold three of five hamlets. Casualties include at least 12 Americans and 49 South Vietnamese killed with many wounded, while 143 enemy troops were reported dead in the town.
