Frederick Blanchard 69 of Sarasota was killed in a two car collision at routes 20 and 511 near Amherst. He died at Alien Memorial Hospital in Oberlin at 3:30 pm from massive internal injuries including a ruptured aorta. Glenn A Lewis 33 of Wakeman was hospitalized with chest, leg and elbow injuries. Blanchard failed to yield at a stop sign and pulled into Lewis's path. Seat belts were not in use.
